    Well, those are more or less there just because having basic IOs there is silly. Hoping I11 will bring us some usable +tohit sets for that.

    And hey, the best attacks I have are temp powers, their accuracy sucks like hell anyway. So +tohit won't hurt :P

  6. Oh, got to love people's ideas of what's fair in a fight. I rarely use insps in zonal pvp (unless fighting multiple opponents (or getting teleganked, in which case ruggeds are in order)), as I sort of like the idea of beating up people without them. But now and then when playing my domi, I run into a blastery type carrying a full tray of BFs or something, just waiting to pick a fight against a domi or a corr using mezzes. For these situs I usually have a bunch of Lucks stashed in my inventory, which I sometimes pop when the BFs start to stack and there is the threat of actual high-magnitude burst damage.

    After dealing with them with the relative safety of +200% defense, there is usually no end to the lip on the broadcast how "lol, u popped insps, u r teh suxx in pvp. lucks r suxx, nutin liek bfs, go back to ur mums basement, u haev no lif."

    An insp is an insp is an insp.

    And all is fair in love and pvp.
  7. Would probably go aiming for something like this if I were to make a PvE Fire/Psi.. Most likely there are some things to fine-tune, but should work more than ok. It's the end result, but should show what powers are useful to get as soon as they come avail (Cages, Flashfire, Psychic Scream...)

    As I expressed over Union Arena chat, as a casual PvP:er, I would really like if the PvP Night would continue to be on Test. I can't really get myself to respec the concept build I have on Live server into a meek sleek Arena Build just for the PvP nights.

    It's pretty useless in PvP, to be honest. You're better off getting Cloaking Device and a +Stealth movement IO.
  18. 1) You set the pace. This means being in the next group before someone else. This can turn into a race if you have a good blaster in the team, but it's your job to win that race.

    2) You may have no ranged attacks, but you are a ranged attack - be mobile if something out of your reach needs attention.

    3) Expect everyone else to do their job. You do yours. If someone needs healing and you have Aid Other so that you can get Aid Self, don't drop everything and run to the other guy to Aid Other him if you're in middle of Aggro management.

    4) Insp up. Inspirations don't hurt anyone.

    5) You are not a unique beautiful snowflake - if you act like a jerk, you can be easilly replaced in a team. Be respectful to other people and their opinions.

    Aye, but the base tohit of a pet is better than a player's, so it's hard to compare. But the tohit of the imps is great. When fighting something like a SR scrapper, I keep missing with 2xacc and the imps keep hitting with just 1xACC slotted. It's really that great.

  25. The aid self stun resist is indeed very weak, but makes a world of difference vs. things like nullifiers - essentially cuts a sizable portion out of the time you need to stand wobbling around.
