My hope is that an Electric/Kin Controller or Electric/Electric Assault Dominator will make up for how underwhelming my Kin/Elec Defender is.

I would pick up tough and weave. I didnt take the passives and in all honesty I dont miss them. I am IO'd out now but I have been playing that tank since Issue 2 when there were no IO's just SO's...

Ive gotten immobilized every now and then and its number is lower than the rest of the set. Makes no sense to me..

Yes they can be squishy, but many AT's are squishy. They dont have build in defenses or resistance. Yet they can be very powerful character depending on power selection and they are very fun to play.

Ive got one Dom and its a Fire/Psi with Ghost Widow as patron and that has worked out very very well. He is permadom and needs it because with the end cost changes to Psi it needs to be up a lot just for the end recovery. I can see Fire/Fire working very well also.

A MM might engage first, a Brute wanting to show off, a Corrupter who thinks he's hot stuff or a Dom with a new power he just HAS to try out now, or everyone just blasts/stomps/stabs pretty much all together. Make no mistake, most people know what their doing and know how to play their characters, but...it just feels much different than Heroside, more loose, more seat of the pants kinda play usually. Quite fun.
Blue: Recruit Fender and all follow Tank interspersed with the rare "hey, let me try something" or "hey guys watch this!".
All because (generalizing again) Heroes = specialists, Villains = generalists.
Brutes especially, I predict, will get a bad rep from some people who don't realize WHY they are in such a hurry. Stalkers...people will be mindlessly following the guy and get mashed by a huge mob (done that myself once, sad to say), MMs will get yelled at (as usual) for blocking doorways and aggroing other spawns too probably.
The RWZ and Cimeora probably mitigated a good deal of the omg factor of teaming with the opposite side, but I reckon people will still howl. Regardless, I think it's going to be amusing to see people try to handle all the differences and come up with "new" tactics using the different archtypes together. -

Ill be going DP/Traps Corruptor or DP/Dark Corruptor that will turn Rogue. Ill start in Praetoria simply because I want to see new content.
Ill also be busy turning a lot of my villians Rouge (the villians I have were mostly undercover heroes or shades of grey heroes anyway ) -
True when you have fast recharge build you need to watch your end bar. They key to that is make sure to try to get at least one SO of end redux into your builds. It goes a long way. Also I have found that you can actually stop attacking for 5-8 second every once in a while to let the end bar build up.. You can taunt or use a less end heavy attack...
Rage crash is the one thing that you have to watch because that will help kill your end bar quickly. I tend to use rage when I need it.. tough foes.. dangerous ones that you need to take down fast or AV's. -

My Regen is 751% with no foes in range with RttC running. 1093% with 8 foes in range.

I proposed many years ago to give Gravity a power like Anti-Gravity field which works like Ice slick which would cause foes to fall UP.. however the problem here is that it would negate the use of the AoE Immobilize but thats no different than Ice or Earth..
Gravity needs some type of soft control within its set. My Earth controller puts Gravity to shame. -

Hell no to both options you're implying.
I hate playing Radiation because I have to go through the painfully long toggles for every mob and when you're on teams that don't suck, everything is dead by the time you finish the animation. Oh joy! I never get to do anything because I'm in animation lock!
And the factor that's making me think of rerolling my TA? Animation lock for the debuffs (and Acid Arrow being a stupidly small AoE) keeps you held in place long after everything is dead. Passive debuffs are fantastic.
That said, being able to cast it on yourself would be great.
The cast time on RI is 3.1 seconds.. The cast time on Liquefy is 2.67 seconds.. for me thats not a huge difference.. Other than the fact you dont need a target for it.. IMO it is very ver underwhelming for a Tier 9 Power.. It SHOULD have massive -res on it IMO since thats what Sonic is all about.. but it doesnt.. AND with a 300 second recharge time you cant even use the debuffs as often as Radiation Infection which you can use every mob... and its great on AV's
Now as far as Disruption Field its a 2.7 second cast time with a 15 foot radius 30% -res and a healthy toggle cost at 1.o4 per second.. AND you need a melee ally to cast it on..
Disruption ARROW which is what I was speaking of is a 1.16 cast time with ea 25 foot radius albiet a lower -res at 20%.. However it works at range and with three recharge IO's it is effectively perma and can be up every mob... and it would cost less end to run... Its ONLY drawback is that it has less -res... I would much rather be able to cast it whenever and WHEREVER I want it..
This only points out that IMO Sonic is NOT as good a set as it could be... Its Tier 9 is lackluster... and Trick Arrow can be just as good if not better in some ways at debuffing foes with sonic... -
