  1. I cant think of anything besides building defense into a build so that attacks miss more often. Regen really doesnt have any -end resistance tools that I can think of.
  2. I would also strongly suggest that you download Mids Hero Planner from www.cohtitan.com

Most people use Mids to help them plan out builds before hand and most people will use Mids to show you builds and you can take the Datalinks or DataChunks from their builds and very them offline whenever you like.

Also you might want to go to www.paragonwiki.com and start reading up on the Invention System which happened in Issue 9.
  3. I have a level 50 Fire/Psi/Fire and I absolutely love that character. I went with the End Redux Alpha slot because even with DrainPsyche and the Dom recharge I have gotten really close to running out of end. That little bit allows me to continue to be a damage machine.

I went TA... Like the ability to debuff on the move...

I vote for blue as well.

I can finally get Heal in there too once the rares come out and that should boost Health and DP regen.

I used her today to trash the Lady Winter mission 3x in a row for canes. Was carrying around some lowbie pugs for fun.

My ice/psi/ice got Nerve Radial slotted (+Acc is nice without having Aim or BU, and the +Def helps ice armor, CJ, maneuvers). She's going to go for the Radial Revamp rare and get +hold (BoI and Glacier) and +confuse (AA).
I went with the end redux Cardial on my Fire/Psi/Fire because even with permadom sometimes I am running really really close to burning through my end.
  10. There are many good combos. I think Earth.Fire would be one of the easier ones to start with because Earth has good hard and soft controls and Fire is excellent damage especially if you take the Fire Epic pool.
  11. Half the tank armors dont have Psi protection. Granite has it in Minerals only.
  12. I have a Sonic/Dark Corruptor and a Rad/Sonic defender. Both very very solid.

The only toggle tier 9 is Granite, and it has significant drawbacks to using it: You can't jump, you can't fly, you move like molasses in January so you are forced into Teleport if you want any kind of mobility while running it, your recharge is debuffed, forcing you to slot recharge bonuses just to get back to what your recharge was while not running it, and it debuffs the damage you deal.

Unstoppable has none of those drawbacks and it caps all of your resistances, as well as increasing your end recovery and mez protection. The crash is the cost you pay for the level of survivability it grants you. If they ever DO make it a toggle power, expect it to become just as harsh as Granite as far as other aspects of your character are concerned.
Severly overpowered. As it stands now a well built Inv is probably the second best tank armor with none of the drawbacks of Stone. My Inv can hit the soft cap with just a few enemies in range and with perma dull pain I can survive a lot of things.
  14. have you given thought to those of us who have older slower PC's ?? thats something to think about.
  15. I need to start running more TF's with these 50's and I cant always wait until one starts. I have done ITF and Khan a bit and I have been on a few LGTF but I really want to start leading more TF's and I want to the the best way to do the Hami portion of the LGFT so I can run it effeciently.

    Thank you in advance.
  16. You should just post the build, not the link. Many people view the boards from work ( like me ) or are on PC's that dont have Mids.

if you are running choking cloud and attacking a lot you are going to burn some end. Choking Cloud is one of the heavery toggles in the game. Also later when you can pick up a shield through an epic thats another toggle.
  18. Im gonna make an Earth/Fire/Fire when I get home. I love Earth but my Earth controller is on Justice and I am playing a lot on Virtue right now.

    Super Strength

If they are worried about the rage crash.. then thats their choice. That has never stopped me once from playing a SS toon..

    SS/SR brute
    Elec/SS Tank
    Shield/SS Tank
    Willpower/SS Tank

ten seconds of downtime is NOT hurting my toon at all.

  21. Your Elec/Rad is going to have some end issues. I have one and running Choking Cloud. EF and RI as well as spamming attacks will drain your end. Make sure you run AM as much as you can. You want to stay in the Static Patch as much as possible, Make sure you put at least three end redux in choking cloud.

    Super Strength

I feel penty super strength when I play my SS toons and I have quite a few. I dont need to rip thing out of the ground ( a really slow animation btw ) to feel strong.

When I juse KO Blow and punch someone into the air it feels really strong.

When I use Footstomp and punch or stomp the ground and people fall down I feel really strong.

When I hit rage and my damage increased signifiganly I feel strong.

    Exactly my thought as well.

This game is about as casual as it gets and leveling in not that hard. seriously

    1-8 jump in the sewers
    9-10 get a rocket pack
10-15 run a few positrons- always easy to get one started and team in Steel Canyon
    15-20 run a few synapses
20-30 Hit Talos Island and Striga. Sister Psyche TF is always good levelin
30+ Easy.. Citadel TF's, Numina. Manticore's and loads and loads of Freakshow and Council radio missions and once you hit 35 and do the Midnighter Arc you can do the ITF...

40+ PI and there are ALWAYS missions running in PI. Tina Mac Arc. Unai Arc. Maria Jenkins Arcs.. Big Map. BigMobs and AV's means LEVELS !!!

    seriously its not THAT hard.

many people have a hard time with the concept of PAYING to play. But your 15 bucks a month pays for a lot. This isnt a PS# or Xbox that has a limited world on a disk that holds info.

This is a LIVING breathing WORLD that has thosuands of players on it across several servers all doing things at different times in different parts of that world. Those servers cost money to maintain and run.

Also you paid for GR. This game has had only TWO paid expansions since it started. CoV and GR thats it... Everything else every other issue and update has been FREE.

Ive been here 78 months and counting Thats over $1,000 put into CoH and I think I got off really cheap.
