come on... NO ONE has an Ice/Ice or Ice/Thorn ??

Alphas will ONLY affect things that can actually be slotted with recharge enhancements. So spiritual will make hasten and your powers recharge faster, however ED will still come into effect so you will have some diminishing returns.

I like Cardiac. In fact I would say that 90% of my Alpha Slotted toons have used Cardiac because I can ALWAYS use End reduction. Less End used means more powers used, more frequently and is very noticeble in long fights. Even though Domination will recharge my bar to full I have found many times I have gotten dangerously close to running out of end, and on some occasions I have run out before the bar refills.

Musculature I went with on one Dom because he has the ability to recover end being an Elec/Elec/Mu. However he was slightyly underslotted on damage on a few powers. Three SO's of damage is about a 95% damage boost. Thats the target I aim for with damage. I had a few powers that were around 85% because some IO's ( namely Decimation ) wont give you enough damage. So Musculature topped that off nicely and added abbout another 8%-10% damage to most of my attacks.

Nerve to me is useless. I usually have slotted enough accouracy, I am usually getting accuracy bonuses through IO's and Domination itself boosts my holds..

Spiritual doesnt affect Domination at all and even less so if you dont have hasten. You probably should look at your damage. For me Damage with proper slotting should hover around 95%. If you are below that and you have no end issues I would go for Musculature. I went for Cardial on my Fire/Psi because even with Drain Psyche, he attacks so much that he occasionally ran out of end before domination recharged, especially when I switched to the Fire Mastery pool.

I like it better the way it is. I prefer the damage increase across the board instead of a massive damage boost only while permadom. Makes leveling MUCH easier.

there are the two builds I am looking at. I havent decided which to get. Any suggestions as to which you enjoy and why ??

Ive been playing my Earth/Fire dom and I really enjoy him but I realize that I almost NEVER use Combustion It seems like a totally wasted power. I wish they had given Fire Sword Circle instead as it animates much quicker. That being said I was looking at Salt Crystals however the fact it is PbAoE bothers me a little. However it would be a nice mule forthe very cheap Sleep Purples.

Anyone using Salt Crystals to good effect ??

Im all into the Doms now.. I am thinking about something with Ice and I have NO Mind toon at all either troller or Dom..

Fun when PermaDom is up... not so much when its down

The two are very different. Controllers are Control/Buff-Debuff and Dominators are Control/Damage. Therefore Dominators in general tend to do more damage. However Controllers can be quite powerful in their own right.

I play plenty of controllers and enjoy them.. Dominators are simply a different breed.

Purple drops are random. You cannot get them through AE or AE tickets however. They only drop from level 50 foes. There is no trick to getting them. Obviously the more foes you defeat the greater your chances are to get a drop.

I believe you can get them through A Merit rolls however, I just dont remember how many A merits you need to save up.

BTW you dont need purples to be highly effective.

I just teamed a lot so I am done there. I love the way the zone looked and the stories were interesting. Finding teams however was somewhat challenging and the mobs are much harder for lower level characters. That was a bit refreshing to face something challenging but constant team wipes were a bit of a shock. I dont think ive ever seen that much -regen. -recovery below level 40.

I was very disappointed that there was no unique lower level TF or Trial. I would have really enjoyed doing something like a Posi in Praetoria. They really need to open that world up more.

Why.. because it tend to give me the most bang for my buck across the board reducing end cost on EVERY SINGLE POWER...

I have used Spiritual Twice to push one character to perma status and on another to Increase both the recharge and the heal aspect of a power. I will also look at it for at least two other characters.

I have used Musculature once for a Dominator who had some powers that due to slotting we coming up a little short on the damage side. I have a planned build for several others to utilize Musculature because the End Drain is coming down the line.

This will be my first and last foray into Praetoria until they open the zone up completely. IMO it was stupid to make in so restrictive from the beginning and without some TF's and Trials for the lower level characters to enjoy.

I would probably be a lot more interested in the content if I were not trying to replace another character. I built a Earth/Thermal to 50 but I dont like that combo and the Earth/Fire Dom will work much better. I basically want to get him out of Praetoria so I can start teaming with my friends.

Any other time I would be far more interested in the content.
