Nothing at all about the crappy drop[ rate of rares and very rares.... oh well. guess most of the level 50's I have wont be getting any of these incarnate slots..

IMO Rad would be superior.. Speed boost will not make your pets attack faster anymore.. they will move faster.. but not attack faster...

If you set you sights on ONE power being the power that defines the set you are going to be very disappointed. Electric Control is about how the combination of effects can really shut down a mob or even several mobs if you know what you are doing. I have two Elec Doms and one Elec Controller and they can effective neutralize many foes at once. Again its the combination of effects that really make things shine..

Ive done somewhere around 27 across different toons and Powersets and have gotten one common and 26 uncommons..
I refuse to play this system anymore until it is fixed. I haent seen a rare in WEEKS and I have NEVER seen a very rare.. -
Took it at first on my Earth/Fire.. then dropped it... dont miss it one bit..

IMO Issue 20 by and large is a step in the wrong direction. More grinding.. more farming.. more lag.. more disconnects.. less friendly teaming.. stupid participation metric that seems to favor certain builds, powers and/or abilities ( my tanks havent gotten any good drops and my MM's and toons that use pets ( or powers defined as pets have suffered ).
Forced to play through crap even though I might not even want that slot. For example my Robot MM would not take a judgement power. But he would take the Lore to get the clockwork Robots.. makes perfect sense.... However I cannot unlock Lore UNTIL I unlock Judgement even though I dont WANT a judgement power on that character.
Creating ANOTHER currency for the end game instead of allowing us to somehow use Merits and A-Merits and Vanguad Merits and the Shards we ALREADY had to unlock these new things.
The creation of just TWO trials which must be run ad infinitum and no guarantee whatsoever at the end that you will get what you actually NEED to progress. This is what ticks me off the most. This is what is the most broken...
Alpha.. I need a Hero 1 DNA.. I do a LGTF.. I GET what I need to PROGRESS... I need shards.. I do TF's that drop shards.. sometimes I get a lot.. sometimes I get few.. but I get what I NEED to progress.... Rikti Mothership raid.. I get what I NEED.. Hami Raid.. I have CHOICES.. Merits.. or Shards.. or a Hami-O ( which while random in roll I still get an opporunity to get what I need or something I can use which I can trade or sell )
This new crap.. I do the Trial.. and I swear 90% of the time after tier 2 I do NOT get what I need to progress. I cant trade it.. I cant sell it.. I can break it down.. or I can side swap it.. but THAT costs me influence.. and WHY ??//
WHY does it cost me 100 million friggin influence to craft a rare.. and 100 threads.. you dont think thats a little outlandish.. 400 million for a very rare.. look I know some people have billions sitting on a bunch of toons.. but guess what devs.. Every 50 doesnt have that.. I know I dont.. I might have 400 million across several.. I mean really I can do A-merit rolls for less than that and make my influence BACK several times over.
They made the system boring and OVER complicated IMO but adding MORE currency instead of using what we ALREADY had... They have YET to open Praetoria to higher level toons.. huge mistake IMO.. so right now it sets largely empty and useless. Anyone run an APex Lately.. or a Tin Mage ?? Why doesnt regular level 50 content drop threads.. Great shards drop when I am exemp'd down now.. but wait a minute.. Shards arent worth a crap anymore..
It just seems like really really poor implementation to me and I sincerely hope it gets much better. -

Agree with others.. YES you want Fighting.. You want Tough and Weave. Tough does make a difference depending on how you slot it.

There is something seriously wrong. I have played my tank recently and am doing my tank job.. taunt...grab the AV. get their attention.. keep foes of the squishies.. attack.. use gauntlet effectively by switching targets.. and you know what I am getting.. commons.. constantly...
Im pretty sure the Lambda screws squishies that cannot get past the mobs. When I have been able to get past the mobs and help with the containers i have gotten consistently better rewards.. when I cant because the teams never fight the mobs in the way and I die and go to the hospital a lot, I get crap for rewards. And if you happen to be locked onto team squisy... forget about it..
I am not sure but I believe that powers that act like pets ( rain powers ) dont get counted as being from the player so I believe participation is affected there.
The system is borked and its not fun when you are stuck at tier 2 and have done 20+ Trials and you cannot get the one thing to take you to tier 3 even though you are using you powers to help and participate as much as possible. -

Tank is way easier to softcap and therefore less expensive to build. With Rage running does enough damage to get the job done.

I have three Elec COntrol toons..
My Basic slotting for the Elec Control set is as follows. These are all final builds and I have found that Doms are always my most expensive builds but the rewards are well worth it.
Tesla Cage: at least 4 of the Basilisks Gaze
Chain Fences: I have at least 5 slots.. either the Gravitational Anchor Purple or Five Positrons Blast.
Jolting Chain: At least 5 Decimation and possibly 6 with a regular Damage IO to finish off the damage
Conductive Aura: Six slots with Efficiay Adaptor. Nice bonuses for all size slots but you could go with less and use generic IO's
Static Field; Five Fortunata Hypnosis. One of the cheapest purple sets out there and nice bonuses.
Paralyzing Blast: Considered by many to be a skippable power. Personally I always take my AoE hold power. At least 4 Basilisks Gaze and I usually try to work in 6 for one more Accuracy/Mez Hami-O and one more recharge.
Synaptic Overload: At least 5 slots with Coercive Persuasion purple and ONE definitely should be the Proc Contagious Confusion.
Gremlins: Pretty much I just slot them with Three Nucleo Acc/Damage IO's. I want pets to hit and do damage.. simple.. save me slots..
