  1. I have never deleted a 50 and likely never will. Especially since the few 50s I have are attached to so many sentimental memories.
  2. The NCLauncher sucks. Turn it off when not in use.

I want to emphasize what you posted previously:

...just so that people are reading the first quote with the second quote in mind. Just so that it emphasizes how silly both of those statements are.

Somehow skipping a ST immob will make my blasters suck right out of the gate? Instead of being able to take, say, a punch or something that will keep them alive longer by defeating my enemies faster? (Blasters belong in melee to get the most out of their damage. I cannot STAND playing ranged blasters. So boring!)

Somehow skipping Gale on my storm troller makes her immediately suck? Sorry, I think being able to skip Gale would be a freaking godsend. One more power choice! I skip Gale on my storm defs, so why not on my trollers? I would rather take O2 Boost any day of the week on any character.

Somehow skipping Web Grenade on my traps MM would have made him suck? Yet another power I would skip if I could; one that gets pretty much no use in my day-to-day playing and just takes up a power slot for me. Having the power and not using it is worse than being able to skip the power and take something else.

So... somehow... giving choices to the player... suddenly makes them more likely to "suck right off the bat"...

    Hmm...

    Does that make any sense?

    ...

    ...Nope, didn't think so.

Tankers were given Bruising as an inherent in Issue 18 (in addition to Gauntlet). It only applies to the first power in their secondary.

OK, not that I believe you but here goes.

You spent your paycheck on twelve pets. That wording generally means you spent the whole thing... that means your paycheck was about $75... If you weren't yanking our chains - which I firmly believe you are - you have bigger issues to worry about than getting our worship.
  6. It won't let me vote. Oh well. I don't really care about the site anyway (never heard of it before today), and I already know the good and bad about City (and tell everyone I know who doesn't play about City), and I already know City is better than those two competitors (having first-hand experience) sssoooooo... no big loss.

Can anyone give me the numbers on the first build though, or tell me how to work them out, please?

Download Mids' and play. Warning: you may end up playing with Mids' more often than you play the game. Don't say I didn't warn you.
  8. And the OP's question is actually why force a T1 attack instead of allowing a T1 or T2 attack. Every tanker/defender T1 and T2 are both damaging attacks, so allowing such wouldn't break the "rule". (And Bruising could be applied to T1 and T2 for tanker's new inherent, it could still not stack with any other application.)

To the OP: No, they've never said why, other than it gives a less lopsided progression.

    Titan Weapons

Beta VIP is not accessible to the public. They should just hide that server to reduce all the complaining about it.
  10. Halloween bundle is back and I was able to purchase it, thank you.

Dog is too expensive and I will not be purchasing it, thank you.

I swear I haven't gotten any points on my account since this system went live. I haven't bothered to keep a detailed log of everything that I bought so I can't verify to be sure.
You can see a detailed log of when you obtained points by logging into your Master Account, selecting Billing Information, and scrolling to the bottom. There will be a list of when points were awarded. If you have multiple City accounts under one Master Account, they will all be listed there.

You can see a detailed log of what has been applied to your account by using the /mypurchases command. Unfortunately, the only way to easily read it is to trick the game, but there's a guide for that:

Warning: it will spam your system message channel.

The easiest way to see it outside of the game is to:
    • Enable chat logging in the options menu.
    • Use the /mypurchases command.
    • Close the game.
    • Find the chat log. It should be in the \City of Heroes\logs\game logs\ directory.
    • Change the log file extension to .htm
    • Open the log file in a browser.
    • The items that can be claimed multiple times should have a "purchased" and "used" column. The "used" column are claimed items.

From there you can copy the table to a spreadsheet by selecting the list, pressing control+c, opening a spreedsheet program and pressing control+v.
  12. Has been that way since MA was introduced.
  13. As far as the last time I tested on the beta server, yes. I am not aware that they did any updating of the sounds, so it should be the same.
  14. Don't forget a useless chainmail buttflap that isn't accompanied by a crotchflap.

    Lore Pets?

AFAIK all (even level) NPCs operate at a 50% chance to hit, including pets (however, the most common reference to this is even level enemies' 50% chance to hit).

    SSA issue

Vigilantes are considered heroes for all content except for directly accessing (a select number of) contacts from the other side. You can go to the villain contacts and start the villain SSA directly from the contact.

The wiki has all the contacts listed:

Only silly people buy it at $85!

I picked three up for $10 each at Big Lots. It was a couple years ago now, but I still keep my eye out for things. That's how I recently (according to my Master Account, around the end of August) picked up two CoV collector's for $2 each at another discount store (I forget the name now) - one for me and one for my fiance.
  19. SoA contact is still there, SoAs still get their pitiful excuse of a story line. All the other old Mercy contacts will give the end of their current story arc to old characters that are still on it, but otherwise are just visual flavor.
  20. The bundle for the Halloween pieces is missing even though the end date isn't until the 18th. I was waiting for my stipend to come in before buying it, so where did it go?

The individual pieces are still there, but not the bundle. Like hell I'm buying those things individually for twice the price (not to mention not enough stipend to cover it).

I just want to point out how silly a statement like that is. If they had no AI, you would summon them and they would be a statue that did not move and did not go anywhere.

In order for them to follow you, including navigating terrain, they require an AI. And City's AIs are historically not exactly sophisticated and optimized.

Think twice before you make such silly, uninformed comments in the future, lol.
  22. You can verify by logging into your Master Account, clicking on Billing Summary, and scrolling all the way down. It will list when you got your points distributions there.

I got 3 on Sept 13 (July, Aug, Sept pre-launch bonuses), 1 on Sept 14 (Sept stipend), and 1 on Oct 12 (Oct stipend). I haven't yet gotten my points for Nov.
  23. This player-made server status page is correct about 95% of the time that I can tell.
