Only if you judge winter by guesstimation. Winter can be anywhere from NEVER (southern states/Caribbean/Central America) to "September through May" (more northern) to ALWAYS (far far north). To be accurate, the months of winter are the latter portion of December (winter starts on Dec 21) through the latter portion of March (spring starts on March 20).

Meanwhile, documentaries seem a little under represented here, so how about Crumb (1994), Fast, Cheap, and Out of Control (1997), and American Movie (1999)?
This is Spinal Tap isn't a documentary!!!??? My life is ruined!!! *runs out of the room, crying and dropping exclamation points behind her*

No, it does not have a cooldown anymore.

That's his spine going up to his neck, just so you know. When you've got serious musculature (which Atlas had) and you're carrying something behind your back like that, your back muscles bunch up. And since there are no muscles over the spine, you get a "valley" running down your spine.

The only nitpicking I could do with that would be to smooth out the base around the tailbone, creating less of a "valley".

    Clown Summoning

This is actually a myth. Positron is firmly against clown summoning, but he is not afraid of clowns (coulrophobia). He is, amusingly, afraid of spiders though (Arachnos lulz). The post where he clarifies this is lost to the ether, either a victim of the purge monster or a victim of the forum changeover from ubb to vbb.

And anyone that is using the Villain Style would be able to read it as well, so it's not really an effective tactic. Some people have switched temporarily to the Villain Style since their is broken code on the Hero Style.
For people who don't strip the color from posts, it is hard to read on both Hero and Villain colors. Basically, it requires highlighting to read, a form of spoiler protection.

For people who strip color from posts (*raises hand*) nothing short of a custom "collapsible box" code will work for spoiler tagging -- and that's just one more thing for the Seattle web team to maintain (or rather -- NOT maintain) and screw up.

    Any know if...

Not that I've ever seen. Even when they have the Steel Canyon firefight, it's just a dude standing by some water-spewing backpacks.
  11. I've been idly wondering why General Discussion has gotten so many suggestions posted here in the last few weeks. Not a big deal, just kind of an idle curiosity. Should Suggestions be moved up to be easier to find??

Yep. And that is time spent doing something else that gets a wider appreciation. Aaaaand we're back to feasibility.
  13. Pieces. I don't mind that occasionally, the pieces I use come bundled with a bunch of other things. Most of the stuff, I'll find a use for.

However, sometimes the other stuff just isn't impressive. I still haven't bought anything from the Gunslinger set because it just stinks so bad. The only things I want are the cigarillo and the gunslinger ((MALE)) pieces - but I pretty much only play females (and none of my females are saloon wenches). So really, the only thing I can get is the cigarillo. INCREDIBLY disappointing. But at least I can pick and choose, instead of the Super Boosters having to pay $10 for one piece.

    Pieces, yeah.

Read the above post. How many years had people been asking to color their powers but the developers kept saying that it wasn't possible due to mechanics with the game engine and that it would require a lot of work but it did happen.
I want to reiterate: there is pretty much NOTHING that the devs have said "isn't possible". And yet you keep saying that "X thing" or "Y thing" was said to be not possible.

The devs never said power customization wasn't possible - the devs repeatedly said that it would take too much work (and at the same time saying they'd love it to happen). Feasibility was near nothing - during the time they kept saying that it was too much work, they had FIFTEEN people working on the game. When they actually started working on it, they stopped talking about it in public (March 2008's FAQ from BAB). If you research posts about power customization, there's actually a little over a year where pretty much no comment was made on power customization by a developer... And then they said power customization was coming with Issue 16 (announced in July 2009).

Pretty much anything that the forum populace believes to be "not possible" has actually never been explicitly stated as not possible by the development team. The only thing I can think of that is so far beyond feasible as to approach "not possible" is running/grappling up vertical surfaces. And that's because it would require a complete rewrite of pretty much the entire game, not just a subset of functions. Might as well nix that and wait for CoH2 on that one.

That's what the "remember me" means: "remember me between visits." And it will - according to Zwillinger, for a maximum of eight hours.

Just want to point out that there has been very close to zero things that the devs have said are not possible. Everything is possible. Feasible is a completely different concept, and one that the devs constantly talk about regarding big changes, like the one you are talking about. Feasibility, practicality, and how much time would require the change to be made - these are all three stacked against you.

Btw, your title is wrong..."fixed" generally indicates something is broken; Shield was designed that way specifically...thus is not broken.
  18. Yes, it is remembering you, sort of, kind of. Zwillinger said due to security reasons, the longest that it will remember you is eight hours. That's total horsepoopy that the web team is feeding him, and he is forced to regurgitate due to it being his job.

HOWEVER, the random logout bug has not been fixed yet, so some of your relogs may be due to that rather than the asinine "security logout" "feature".

I just wanted to emphasize that this is incorrect and Twisted Toon is correct. I have a hero in Outbreak and a villain in Breakout, and both of them are still located there. They can still run around killing Contaminated, plus I completed the hero door mission without issue after Freedom. I'm leaving them there until they completely get rid of the zones, if they ever do.
  20. If by "change" you actually mean "reset", correct. But if you wanted to play at all during the week, you'd have to keep moving the window because it pops back to middle with each login/zone.
