Rogues I know can pay base rent on their villain SGs through the hero SG rep.
Not sure about buying prestige but I would assume....however ***+u+me... -

It requires setting up a subscription to complete the referral: a month's payment (or multiple months) or a time card or a game card. Retail codes don't count as a subscription for the referral.

Premium players can get support through email (support@ncsoft.com) and through Ask A Question. Only if you INITIATE the support request through email/AAQ will they assist. They do not get support through in-game GMs.

Yes, they will auto close any tickets that have no activity (count as last response from either you or them) for three days, including tickets opened over the weekend (which is doubly stupid because a lot of those, especially billing tickets, *can't* be assisted with over the weekend - there are no billing specialists on the weekends!)

Yes, you must be a VIP to refer a friend. Please note that in order to refer a friend to work, you will have to:
a) sub Account 1 in order to refer a friend (requires money)
b) refer Account 2 from Account 1
c) sub Account 2 through referral (requires money)
...which leads to Account 1 getting another month of sub. -
It's not available from NCsoft. It's out of print. Amazon, eBay, etc. yeah.

I have an Aggelakis on every server, with different powersets on each. I also have a couple extra Aggelakises on Justice, and I have a few alternate-spelling Agges on several servers.
I have created Aggelakis in every game I've played. She is an old RP character from long before I started playing City. She has gotten the most mileage out of City and her story has fleshed a lot more since playing her and her various permutations in City. -
CoV Collector's edition for the chest emblem and cape with emblem.
Veteran rewards for a different chest emblem and various pre-order helmets.

They're still not awarding properly, no.

I haven't crashed out of City in a long time, but I do lag a little during large encounters like Rikti Raids and dev/OCR visits/events and stuff.
Incidentally, I haven't experienced Lag Valley since they "fixed" it however long ago, even though a number of people still seem to get lag in there. -
Quote:Cough cough. Look at the first several posts in the thread, which have to do with the cottage rule.In a nutshell, it says that, "barring an overwhelming balance issue, the Devs will never replace a power with a different power, or make large changes to the core function of a power in an existing powerset."
I think having it be an "either or" option (like Crab Venom Grenade, and Widow Build Up/Follow Up) would be great. I would love more "either or" options in powersets. -
+HP increases regeneration, which on a Willpower tank is already pretty good (especially surrounded by foes), which grants more "fake resistance" over time.

Anytime I feel like queueing up for DFB, I announce in Broadcast and Help that I'm queueing up, encourage others to queue up, and within five minutes I'm inside the sewers. Without ever having done anything more than 'enter queue'.
It doesn't take much more than a little nudge for people to use things the way they were meant to be used. Just keep reminding them that it's there for it, and eventually they'll use it on their own. -
Yes, you should have gotten another reward token when your time expired, but all the VIP rewards are totally buggered right now and rarely are rewarding properly, so hopefully support will fix you up on that one.

Yeah, sometimes the market database doesn't hook up correctly to the account database. It just needs a jog to get it working again. Sometimes as easy as swapping servers, sometimes requires logout/back in, sometimes requires closing down and waiting a few minutes before getting back in.

Beta's supposed to happen this month, and on average, beta lasts between 4-8 weeks.

I wouldn't mind an update to how our character models looked, but if we ended up with something like our Distinguished Competition's plastique or our Chief Opposition's shiny clay, I will throw a fit. Promise. City's character models are halfway between drawn art and reality, and that looks way better than those other two's.

Oooh. Point. Forgot as I was writing it that the OP had the starter kit. Yes, GR won't grant another retail code token, there's a max of one of those.

Quote:No, he's overreacting. That's a bit of an overreaction on your part, man. Your post was a little confusing and it's not unheard of for someone to ask for clarification on it. But then, maybe you're being sarcastic and it's late and I can't see it. That's entirely possible.
@DE: Your post was badly worded, unclear, confusing, whatever you want to call it. More than one person (including me) had to reread it to get what you were saying. ******** at someone because they asked for clarification on your meaning, when it honestly *could* go either way based on how you read the sentence, is overreacting. A simple "I meant [this], sorry I was unclear" would have sufficed. -
It's not kvetching. It's feedback. The only way Paragon will get feedback is if people voice their opinions. Even though lately the players' opinions seem to matter less and less, there *are* instances that things get changed (or completely removed) based on feedback.

Applying a box code grants your account a month of game time. Also, it will grant you one reward token for having a retail code applied to your account, and one reward token for having a month of VIP time applied to your account. You'll get 400pp for the month of VIP time, and a server transfer token as well.
You will also get all of the goodies associated with Going Rogue, which you will keep access to even if you go premium. Obligatory wiki link. -
Check out City of Data. The lines regarding 'kMeter' are the Stalker-specific crits from hide, if it says "If source.kMeter > 0". The lines regarding "source.arch" are the Scrapper-specific chance for crits, if it says "If source.arch == class_scrapper".
Comparison examples using single-target attacks:
-- Soul Mastery > Dark Blast
-- Blaze Mastery > Fire Blast -
Quote:In a heartbeat. I'm not spending $7.50 each for multiple powers that do exactly the same thing. I would buy many, many skins for a buck after the initial $7.50 purchase. When they first announced the Rocket Board, that's what players were clamoring for - skins for the Rocket Board. But the idea of treating the rocket board as the base power and purchasing new "skins" is an interesting one. Would people be more accepting if they had to pay an additional $1-2 for a new skin for the existing power?
What the players wanted was the Rocket Board to be customizable to look different. What Paragon Studios took back was that players wanted multiple powers that act like the Rocket Board.
Quote:The big question for me is how much of the cost of these powers is bundled up in the new animation and art needed for them. If minus profit the art/animation is the primary expense for the power then I kind of doubt we'll see skins for them on the market any time soon, or at least not on the market with any significant discount. Personally I kind of think that's the case. Well for these travel powers at least.
