From what I've noticed, it accompanies pretty much any popup display text. Which is totally wrong. :/

Tex watches the technical issues board like a hawk. He's in there frequently. He can pass things along. A PM to Zwillinger, Freitag, or Beastyle works also.
The support site/knowledge base would be pretty useless. -
Quote:This is not necessarily true. I read the forums and putter about on the wiki possibly orders of magnitude more than play the game, and I *love* this game. I am super stoked about pretty close to everything that's come out in the last year or so, and stuff that's coming is pretty awesome too.Yep. You will be much happier if you never read the forums and just play the game. Monitor the devs' posts and avoid threads with lots of responses, most of which will be people posting ad-hominem attacks.
That doesn't mean there hasn't been some colossal turds in the last year or so, or that I don't expect more bad stuff in the future (it's inevitable; nothing and no one is perfect!), but by and large, even though I spend more time out-of-game than in-game, I am totally happy. -
You can also tell in the in-game options which resolution to use by selecting whichever one says "(Desktop)" after it. That's the resolution of your...er...desktop.

Say hello to the reason they'll likely never implement something like this. Your issues are solved by giving them money. It's bad business sense to circumvent getting money.

Mostly A with a little bit of B.
My biggest preference:
-- COMPLETE any incomplete patterns! Many patterns don't have all pieces available. Also, Tights Sleek don't have gloves, boots, skirt, or face mask equivalents. Etc. Complete all of those!
My other preferences:
-- Fix all of the edges of tights so that there are no lines between the two 'blocks' of the model.
-- A "mask" that is actually just a very short "neck" to use with chest tights so that the neckline doesn't stop abruptly at the 'base' of the neck.
-- Chest tights that have an actual neckline (like a t-shirt's V or semi-circle) instead of stopping abruptly.
-- Masks on top of the face and tights on top of the skin (not painted on).
-- Update the current patterns to hi-res (drop the old ones into a Legacy option) and make more patterns (make sure you make complete sets!).
-- A real t-shirt for both male/huge and female bodies. With loose-ish sleeves and loose-ish chest/waist (but not so loose that it doesn't look like loose tights!). Like a real t-shirt! -

But I don't pick cotton.... *sad face*

I'd love to keep earning "experience" and getting some reward after filling a "fake level".
Incarnates doesn't count, as has been explained before. Not only do you have to be a VIP just to utilize the Incarnate system (I would deffo make sure "fake levels" could be earned by freebies and preemies), but you have to do crazy ish to get your rewards. I vastly prefer regular content. -
Quote:No the truncated thing was apparently changed. See the below screenshots from Freedom.
The first shows 50 people spread over various maps blueside.
The same search of just Atlas Park shows 50 people. Neither list states it's truncated when it obviously is. -
Can't freebies already /reply? They used to be able to. It uses a different function than "/t <name>, message" which is what freebies are blocked from. Did they take /reply away?
I don't have any free accounts and don't have the time before going back to work to create a new one to test it. -
Which is why I said what I said (post 6) in the first place.

Quote:None. It got me to thinking, though. If the Devs of any MMO (and game itself) have no moral obligations to the players, then what moral obligations do the players have to those Devs and their game?
Even abiding by the EULA/TOS/whatever isn't necessary. You won't last long, but it's not necessary. -
Quote:Meh, farms are different.Generally I only feel this way on farms. I have some farm maps that end on glowy clicks so if I see anyone going near them they get auto-kicked.
In regular content, back when inf and XP was hard to come by, I *never* clicked other people's glowies. Now, I don't care. Whoever gets there first, get the glowie. -

Quote:The reward merit thing was a leaked oops from the devs and they removed it quite some time ago.IIRC, you buy it for x amount (I think it's 180) reward merits for a 1 month liscence from the reward merit vendor in the auction houses/black market.
IE the guy you give your reward merits to for IOs, but not the actual wentworth employees.
Quote:AFAIK, there has never been an architect license on live. There was one in the paragon market in the i21 beta, but it didn't make it to live for whatever reason.
The account comparison page is somewhat confusing on the matter - free players can purchase it, at which point they would cease to be free players, but once they're not free they can't purchase it, they can only unlock it with paragon rewards? I guess that's sort of technically an accurate description of how it works, but it's an odd way to label it.

Quote:This is my experience. My third account had a character on Exalted because I got the 1.99 deal late enough that some VIP time happened after Freedom. When the sub lapsed, I moved the character off Exalted with the server transfer we got with the launch of Freedom.Hmm. I have a second account that's premium with a character on Exalted. The Transfer button is active (I have two transfers), and if I click it I get the dialog telling me that I'm going to use a transfer. I don't want to transfer the character, so I'm not gonna waste it on a test, but it looks like it'll work exactly as one would want it to.

Does it not say "this list has been truncated" anymore? His screenies don't say that. It used to say that if there were more than one page of 50 characters online. If it didn't say that, then that list was all that there were.
I don't remember that ever being a documented change (but would not surprise me in the least to find out ANOTHER undocumented change). -
I have several times been called by SG mates for help. As they are SG mates, people I tend to like more than random strangers, I am more than willing to quit a group to go help them.
Granted, I generally won't quit in the middle of a mission. -
For the life span of City of Heroes Europe from its launch until the server list merge, they did not gather on Virtue. *snerk*
-
Characters are never deleted. We told you this in your last thread regarding dropping to premium. (Exception being abusing exploits.)
Characters on Exalted are inaccessible while Premium, however you can spend any accumulated server transfer tokens, or buy more server transfer tokens, to move them to another server. (Note you need an empty slot on the target server in order to move them. This may or may not require purchasing one or more character slots.) -
Quote:Why does the ability to do something two different ways take away your immersion? Oh, wait, you're saying it doesn't?If that community changes to emphasize convenience over immersion, ...
Why do YOU care if I want MY character to switch sides today instead of tomorrow? You don't want to buy Alignment Tokens? Congratulations, you have that choice! Now [soonTM], I have a choice to buy them if I want.
I am [theoretically] willing to pay to change something. You're [actually] willing to wait. Great! We both have options. How does a second choice for something erode your enjoyment and immersion of the game? Ignore the market purchase that says Alignment Token. There, I just fixed your problem!
