Actually, in the City universe, it means everything. The devs have unequivocally said Praetorian Stefan Richter is dead, fin, end of story. His entire life is pretty much a footnote in their lore bible, and ends with "and then Cole killed him". His death was pretty much the launching point for Tyrant, and was a very long time ago. I don't see them ever changing that.
Bringing forth a different dimension Stefan? Sure. We need some balance to this overabundance of Statesman ubermenschenBring Praetorian Stefan's rotten carcass (possibly skeleton by now
) out of its resting place? Un-bloody-likely.

The Praetorian Stefan Richter was murdered by Marcus Cole at the Well. That's the only other Stefan we've been told about.

G, but F if counting my waiting-to-sell items. I just got done spending all my dough on a new build for my ill/ta troller. *sigh*

Quote:Yes, it's the same thing there's just a different interface in-game than the website (obviously).
Edit: also do Points bought thru the NCSoft website Master Account still give Reward Tokens? as i dont have a credit card on file so i cant charge thru in-game shop -
Quote:Even though the OP has solved their issue, I want to correct this.Oh, and you are VIP, right? You can't make/edit bases if you're a freemium.
Free and Premium players can't interact with the SG registrar. This means creating SGs, asking the registrar to create a base after starting an SG, paying rent, exchanging inf into prestige, and seeing the server's list of top prestige-banked SGs.
Free and Premium players are fully capable of editing bases, because it has nothing to do with the SG registrar. -
Move over to Freedom or Virtue for a higher villain population. By sheer virtue (lol) of being the highest pop servers, they have more villains.
That's not to say either one is covered in villains, but there's more there than anywhere else. -
While I am not averse to this, it would put one more thing on the NCsoft web team's to-do list, which they already fail to keep up with as it is.

Quote:I still remember fondly the crusade against team announcements of drops alongside the implementation of inventions. I was one of the folks at the spearhead of that, and I thank my lucky stars pretty much every time I'm on a steamrolling team that I don't have to look at other people's spam.... I can point at all sorts of examples where we have made adjustments or changed our initial design based on Community feedback (costumes, Incarnate Trials, Powers designs, etc, etc...) ...
And with the introduction of so much multi-team content, thinking back and realizing Paragon initially wanted to announce every single freaking drop (inspirations, enhancements, salvage, recipes)...I shudder to think! How spammy would my damn rewards window be if up to 23 other people were telling me all those drops.
Dude A got a Keen Insight!
Dude B got an Electromagnetic Wave Bombardment!
Lady Y got an Executioner's Contract: Damage/Interrupt!
Robot Z got a Kinetic Weapon!
Oh boy, I just KNOW I needed to know all that! I bet they all really wanted to know that I just got a range SO!
Good grief. Thank you guys for listening. Really!!! -
Quote:I just want to point out the error of this statement. Up until level 25, being in SG mode makes absolutely no difference in your inf earnings. From level 25 to level 29, you earn 10% less inf, so at level 29 and above, you earn 50% inf. It *NEVER* "turns off" inf, not since Issue 12, almost four years ago!One of the other problems could be that in order to get anything for your base, mostly cosmetic stuff by the way, you have to turn off your ability to earn influence/infamy.
A free player (and a low-token-count preemie) earns vastly more inf by selling their drops to the appropriate vendors (magic to magic, training to training, etc) than by defeating enemies until around level 40. After 40, you earn so much inf from enemy defeats you can barely even tell that you've got SG mode on. If you're really that hard up for inf, sub for a month and sell all your invention drops on the market - you'll be rolling in dough by the time your month ends. And if you're a free player or a low-rewards preemie, you can't even use inventions when you're done with the sub, so it's ENTIRELY profit.

PS: "super teams" are highly specialized groups of players who create their characters to mesh very specifically together (for instance, an all-darkness-powers super team, or an all-empathy super team, or an all fire/rad controllers super team). What you're talking about are "super groups", which is the "guild" equivalent in City. -
So I'm not sure the exact mechanics behind it, but in simple terms, every spawn has a "points total" attached to them. Every individual critter has a "point value" attached to it. A spawn is filled with critters until the combined points value matches the points total for that spawn.
Most enemy groups have a logical progression (for one hero: three minions; one minion/one lieut; zero or one minion/one boss). IIRC, the Lost have some weird lopsided value that sometimes ends up with weird combinations of critters in a spawn. I've seen two lieut Lost spawns more times than I can count. -

Quote:Adding a booster adds 5% to the IO's base value, adding 5 boosters adds 25% to the IO's base value. A level 30 damage IO is 34.8%, a level 30+5 damage IO is 43.5% (34.8*1.25). A level 35 damage IO is 36.7%, +5 is ~45.9%. A level 50 damage IO is 42.4%.Adding a booster to an IO makes it function as if it were one level higher. In what world does a level 35 enhancement have higher values than a level 50? O_o

I misspoke. You can't email boosted enhancements. You can trade them directly with other players though, and it strips the boosts out. You see it on the trade window when doing this (it no longer says +#).
I have no idea if it's WAI, but that's the way it works. -
Uh... it's your concept. Pick a color and use the darkest version of it you see. It'll be as dim as Fiery Aura gets.
-
Heck, I don't even slot anything until level 12-14 most of the time, and even then those are almost entirely accs and ends.
-
The darker colors (not that fiery auras choices are all that dark) are the least visible due to the way the game does color in its auras.

What game has a dude named Darion Wade?

Quote:Because you can pay to increase your storage capacity, and putting in a filter circumvents most of the reason for increasing storage, which mostly eliminates the need to purchase storage capacity increases, which makes them earn less money....why wouldn't they? An auto-delete filter would have no affect on the drop rate, so it's not going to imbalance the game. It'll merely be a convenience.
Ergo, they're almost guaranteed not to do it. Since I am not on their marketing team, I can't say they definitely won't, but I would be ridiculously, fabulously surprised if they did. (And just to note, if I *were* on their marketing team, I would veto this based on my previous reasoning.) -
Faces has no active developer. Unless someone steps up to volunteer to develop Faces (and that means first completely gutting and rewriting Faces), it will only be worked on in TonyV's spare time. Don't expect it back soon.
-
You can email a boosted enhancement, which will remove any boost on them.
-
You can also auto complete the mission to actually craft the IO, which means you don't have to buy anything or craft anything. Not really what autocomplete is meant for but
