Quote:Yin's MarketOk. Maybe I was looking at the DO's. I saved her father and all I could see were tech which I couldn't use on my mutation brute.
I'll go back and look again. -
I like pretty much nothing from the OP when tied to an origin.
I like pretty much everything from the OP if it were perks/disads that one could pick from at will. -
They won't. They say the combos of DB 'make' DB. DB is more of a finesse powerset, thus the more specific power ordering ending in a specific effect.
SJ is more of a brawling set, which using combo points/finishers makes sense for. Build up for a big punch, but it doesn't matter how you build up to it or what your actual finisher is (other than separating out which powers are builders and which powers are finishers). -

Quote:Team inspirations are called "imbuements" in this listI looked in the store and couldn't find these. They weren't listed in any of the inspirations categories, at least not for me. Are you all talking about something that's on beta right now? And what exactly are their names? The OP doesn't make any mention of beta, and everyone else seems to be talking like they're on Live too.
(Please forgive my ignorance here, I happily helped beta test Issue 21 but there are just too many things in Issue 22 that I don't want to spoil for myself, before me and my friends RP through the content. So I am not beta testing Issue 22. I do my part, I have sent in a lot of bug reports in my meager two years, don't glare at me like that.)

SJ doesn't have combos like DB or like console fighting games where you have to push buttons in the perfect order for things to work. SJ has combo POINTS like a lot of games do rogues/thieves, especially the game where War is a Craft. More points means a better finish.

Almost a direct copy of Ninja Run/Beast Run.
Lower jump than SJ, slower run than SS. In the middle of them. -

All of the pieces except for the Cupid Bow are available from the Cimerora-related content. It does NOT include any weapon models except the Cupid Bow (which is not available in-game at all, only through this release, in the pack or bought separately for 60pp). -
Darkness Affinity/Dark Assault are paid-for sets (free for VIPs), so they get counted. They're also not just proliferations - they're using the new dark effects, so 90% of them are new...effects and animations are not entirely repeats (10% is the old numbers, either directly via the AT modifiers or after being tweaked for a different AT).

Quote:Yes. :P It's a retro space pack, goll darnit, and fancy space rings are a staple. You would hamstring character concept and costume versatility for silly rings?
I am not averse to having "B without rings" and "B with rings" though. I am completely willing to compromise on that. -
Quote:What kind of retro space pack requires fewer rings!? What planet are you from? Nofunlandia?!?imo the ring doodads on B are kind of goofy. A seems more versatile.
I'll be honest: I think this is the only costume part that I'm really invested in. Especially if it has a path aura that turns off when you're stationary (ala jetpack powers). The other pieces I will probably buy because cheesy old space movies are some of my favorite movies. But if I don't get my beringed rocket pack I will be extra sad panda. -

Quote:It'll probably be implemented the same way Think Tank was implemented; as a special head "style" (hats, helmets, hair with masks, monstrous, etc., bubble helmet).I could make a case for any of them, but if I only get one of them, the simpler one is more versatile, in my opinion.
What are the odds of getting these put on the costume menu as either a separate head type, or as Detail 1, so that we can have our choice of hair types and can use shoulder pieces on our space suits? You run the risk of hair like glam poking through the helmet, but that's user choice. I'll still somewhat-grudgingly buy it if it's implemented as a hat, but I'd prefer more versatility. -
It's unlikely to be a ray gun blast set, probably more like customs for the existing sets.

Quote:It's something from the private VIP-only beta, about an accidentally-released, work-in-progress arc. Of course they're going to remove it.***EDIT***
I went looking for Golden Girl's post on that topic and found that Beastyle had "moderated" out Penny's personal description. Maybe they're going to change it from what it was when Golden Girl first checked it, or maybe they just didn't want that as a spoiler on the forum. Hard to say.
TBH I'm surprised so much of the VIP-only beta information is left standing out here in the wilds. -
Out of curiosity, are you announcing this in the Gmotd? Because you really should. To get more than the forum going populace.
