It's just how the reward window works. It's worked like this since they implemented it (way back when we could select SOs for completing a story arc). If you don't select anything and log out, it will still be open when you come back. However, it doesn't alter WHEN you can select something.

You can do an SSA on Monday at 8pm and get your weekly alignment merit.

You can then do the SSA anytime during the next seven days and leave the reward window open without choosing anything. When the timer expires at around Monday at 4-7pm (it's not exactly a week, but is only off by a few hours at the most), you can log in and get another reward.
  2. Ah.

However, the anecdote didn't say whether or not the person had already played those episodes before so your statement could still be wrong.

Common European term (I've heard it from European friends who don't play video games), you're not old.

It doesn't matter how long you're logged out, you can only claim each reward once per week TOTAL - NOT once per arc.

You only get the reward once per arc for the first run ever on each character.
The first time you play an SSA, you get one freebie reward for every separate episode. Then you can play any of the SSAs and get one extra choice of that reward, once per week.

So since we have parts 1-5, you should be able to get 6 of one reward (e.g. 6 alignment merits) in one day (or whatever length of time it takes you to complete them). Part 1 freebie, part 2 freebie, part 3 freebie, part 4 freebie, part 5 freebie, weekly reward.

Yeps just tested that and we now start with 2 costumes from initial creation. That explains why I thought I'd got 6 slots.
Um....no we don't. All of my characters have the appropriate number of costume slots (e.g. 1 at level 1, 4 at level 50, add one for Halloween if applicable). You apparently bought a costume slot from the Market at some point.

I recall clearly making the suggestion in the "suggestions/for fun" section of the forums that they allow us to buy the instant mission tp.

I was told that there were problems with people's charge being used up when it didn't work. Just seems to me, though, the longer the animation, the more opportunity there is to interrupt it. What really irks is that the instant tp should have been part of the booster pack. It was almost enough to make me rage quit.
Whaaaaaaaat. When did that change? I loved using those TPs for a quick story arc on my heroes (sooooo much traveling!).

    Bah. That is stupid.

I think the only Cryptic programmers left are Positron (and he's a Team Lead so may not actually do much coding anymore) and a couple non-rednamers. Almost all of the current programming team was hired on after the buyout...and certainly the ones that would be working most with it (powers and world-interaction) are "newbies" - Synapse as the "powers guy" (formerly Castle's role) and a few others.

    Sort of this.

The only character I have that has aged is my necromancer MM, whose costume progression showed her descent into madness and then becoming undead herself. So she aged approximately 5-10 years during her run from level 1 to 40, though she hasn't aged since 40.

I have a character who will have another progression through her costume slots once we get Beast Mastery for MM (I have no idea why both of my aging characters are MMs, other than MMs have VERY distinct milestones in their power progression) that will progress from a teenager with a kitty on her shoulder to a 20s/30s lady with an animal pack who has "gone native".

So really, no unless there's a plot I made up for it.

These two are pretty useless in Paragon City. There is no weather, and I think something in the mediport system prevents any kind of skin color change unless forced by some unseen presence behind a theoretical giant invisible computer monitor in the sky.

This is directly a call to the developers to make more solo content.
Hey Tony, if I log in and go through Maria Jenkins' arc by myself, am I playing solo content (which in your usage means "solo-only, no teams"), or am I playing soloable content?

There is a difference between "SOLOABLE" and "SOLO-ONLY". The OP never once said they want more solo-only content. The OP repeatedly said they want soloable content. They didn't even say they wanted EASY soloable content, just more content that they can play alone.

It was in a newsletter. I didn't receive this newsletter so cannot confirm, though multiple people in the thread said it. I can no longer find the thread that mentioned it.

What are you talking about? The mission transporter from the mac pack/booster/market has always had a long cast time. The mission teleporter from the market/paragon rewards is instant cast.
  17. Make a new shortcut. In the Target line, put this:

    "C:\Program Files\NCsoft\Launcher\NCLauncher.exe" /LaunchGame=CohBeta
(or whatever file path your launcher is located at)

This will install VIP Beta. You can cancel the actual install process and copy over your Test or Live folder into your Beta folder, which will save *some* downloading (but not all because the piggs are *seriously* different between test/live and beta, and the piggs are the bulk of the game)
  18. This is a common problem, the most obvious one is Paragon's water system mysteriously disolving and reforming skirts upon submersion and removal.
  19. PM Zwillinger and he can kickstart the account data. I've seen someone say they did that before.

....no. /bindload loads your binds from a file on your harddrive. You would still have to hit whatever bind you make for wdw/chat/option load.

They're going to have to spend a few hundred in order to get to where they want without becoming a VIP and getting automatic acess.
Or they can spend 160pp/month for inventions (and possibly 150pp/month for the auction house).

    Temporary Powers:
    http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Temporary_Powers

However, GG was talking about ENHANCEMENTS, the things you socket into your power slots on the management screen. A lot of them are items or physical upgrades/mutations. This allows players to keep unique costumes but still upgrade their "gear".
