  2. CYA question: Do you have cut scene captions in one of your chat windows?
  3. Actually, he's not wrong about the second part. You are coming across exceedingly dramatic, even if you don't think you are.
  4. See also: Diablo 2 (HACKASAURUS REX) vs Diablo 3 (log into Bliznet for your solo game).
  5. I don't like fighting other players (I suck at video games and literally cannot win without some half-cheating tactic like casting Grant Invisibility on a heavy in RV).

I don't like that everyone's powers act differently in PVP. It's like having to learn a second game. No thanks; if I wanted to learn a second game, I'd go play a second game.

I don't have enough money to make a build good enough to be viable. I have no interest in making enough money to do so.

But the biggest part, the attitude of a large number of the PVP player base frankly sucks.

    Came back and...

Look up at the top left. You should have a bunch of server slots, like TJ says.

If you have no account/character items, and turn the option to hide unclaimable rewards, you don't get the read[sic] (red) email notifier.

Granted, I don't think you should get the red email notifier if you have account/character items to claim, but what I said is true. You can turn off unclaimable rewards and it will remove them from your list.

They tried to use Positron Part One as WST, and had to kajigger things into both Posi1 and Posi2. This was very soon after the WST was even brought into being, so almost a year of experience should head some of that off at the pass.

Similarly, wasn't there a problem discovered the last time the ITF was the WST? That may or may not have been when Romulus was spawning regularly in the map with other mobs. It could have been a different problem. I don't remember exactly what the problem was but I do remember hearing about a problem of some type.
Not that I know of. Nictus critters spawning where they shouldn't be was a bug with the Kheldian Khooties (kh)code.
  9. This kind of makes my skin crawl a little because Nexon games (MapleStory, Mabinogi, etc) tend to be typical Asian-style grindfests. I sincerely hope they don't try to press City into such a beast. The beauty in City is that you don't HAVE to grind to get where you want to go (it's faster to, obviously, yes; Nexon's games pretty much require grinding).

If it was not a "toggle" before then the only thing that has changed is that it activates immediately when you claim it(and should want to use it) rather than being thrown in the way too full temp powers list.

Of course, I'm not a fan of my email button being permanently red due to unclaimed account and character items either. That should change.(seriously, can't claim ascension costume pieces until 50 and who burns through every character item as soon as they get it?)
    1) There's a toggle in options that turns off unclaimable rewards (e.g. lv50-only rewards on a sub-50 character).

    B) It was never a toggle. You activated it and it ran its course.

    III) There is no III.
  11. I wouldn't mind getting those boots in your art piece for player characters. >.> <.<

We need a good set of boots that are solid but not bulky, and aren't either a) too fancy (i.e., Celestial), or b) too dressed-down (i.e., Overguard).

Maybe the chest/belt design too, with the haphazard pouches (asymmetry!)
  12. Yep. Same badge for completion (Saved the World). Also, the MoSTF badge was replaced by the MoMLTF badge - if you had MoSTF before, you will now have MoMLTF.

  14. Easiest way to roughly calculate rent: Count how many worktables, med room items (minus the rez ring itself), and storage items you have, then add two zeroes. You may be off by some (the higher empowerment stations cost 200 and 300 p/mo) by you'll be within spitting distance.

Rent I've seen averages between 1000-4000 prestige. It is pretty much impossible to not have enough prestige to pay rent unless you never play in supergroup mode and don't have enough inf to convert. Run one to three missions in SG mode (depends on reputation) per pay period and you're set.

So basically: don't worry about rent; it's worthless these days. lol

I have a fully-functioning one-person SG with rent like 900 prestige a month. Kill four bosses and I'm ready for next month! lol
  15. Probably because this is the only way for them to give the information popup. There's no mechanic that I know of that allows an info window when activating a power (temporary or otherwise).
  16. Why do they have the first respec three times? Why do they have Manti twice?

Why hasn't Posi been selected since last August? Why hasn't ITF been selected since January? Why isn't there something redside that gives us more options than Ice Mistral/Operative Renault (Ice Mistral/Operative Renault has been WST ***TEN/NINE TIMES***, twice that of the next highest villain SF!)
  17. No idea. At almost midnight on a Saturday night, no less.

The "untouchable" portion of those *three* listed rez powers was not present until Issue 22, you are correct. All other rezzes with untouchable were already there. Most of them have had untouchable since the ability was introduced to the game.

My guess? The delay was also part of all resurrects, but they forgot to delete the delay for the ancillary/patron pools and temporary power resurrects when they did so for the power set versions.
This is simply an amusing conjecture. And wrong. None of the armor sets have a delay that I can recall.

    Quote:
The fact that the delay prevents the intended function in specific unforeseen situations is a bug, nothing less.
They specifically coded in a delay stipulation. Otherwise it would happen immediately, like the armor set rezzes. How many times do we have to say "they wrote it in" before you realize the truth?
  19. I'm actually NOT one of those people you typed about, just FYI.

I am, however, 100% disappointed that they couldn't chop up the winning image and stick those overtop of the forum like they did with the losing image.

After all, standing in a mildly heroic pose is just as comic booky as leaping away from logos.
  20. One of my friends has already been refunded.

    Oh really....

For some reason, when I think of comic books, I don't think of old Asian costumes. So you can take your explanation and stick it.

I'm pretty sure deliberately coding in a delay for something to happen means it's intentional.

I just want to point out that this is pretty much entirely reversed. Thursday is almost never patch day. When patches happen any other day than Tuesday, it's remarked far and wide in-game and on the forums - it's totally abnormal. Thursday is maintenance day (as seen in the knowledge base article). Maintenance happens almost every Thursday - even if it's only for like 10 minutes to restart everything. It very rarely does not happen.

For instance, I23 dropping on Thursday was totally out of left field. It's the first time an Issue has dropped on something other than Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday since **2005**. (And Monday hasn't happened since I18's joint release with the preorder access to Going Rogue.)
