  1. Defeating any foe that can drop level 50 enhancements anywhere will have the chance to drop purples.

and the bosses at any level have a chance to drop rare pool C recipes.
  2. I got some really good rare recipes soloing the ToT at level 50. Just today, the total value of crafted recipes I got from 'Tricks' is about 30 million blueside. Boss spawns are good!

At the same time, I got 22 Halloween Salvage and 26 of the Costume Powers.

    What level was your character?

ToTing only works in level-appropriated zones.

Oh! All right then. *flies down to Annah*

Er.. Will.. Will you tell me how the event works, Annah?

"I am afraid there is nothing more I can do for you."

    ... Please?

"I am afraid there is nothing more I can do for you."

    ... *cough*
It was wrong of Customer Service to advertise that. And I pointed it out to Ghost Falcon in Test.

Granny and Annah only have information about turning in Halloween Salvage for an extra costume slot. Once you've done that, they won't talk to you any more.

Go to http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Halloween_Event_2009 for the straight dope.

I just read on ParagonWiki that the Halloween Salvage will drop from the "Trick" spawns this year, rather than as Treats. My question is, is it likely that a solo player will be able to handle those Trick critters? In other words, will the spawns be too many or too high level for a single (reasonably competent, I hope) level 20-30 solo newbie blaster or scrapper(aka Me) to defeat?

    Thanks, in advance,

    Cheesy
After about two hours of ToTing solo on my Defender (with lots of IO bonuses at level 50), I have 11 Halloween Salvage.

    That is all.
    1. ToT is working.

    2. From the time it's announced in the Event Channel. You have 5 minutes before foes show up.

Halloween costume pieces that I would love to add to my collection. Bring me one Statesman Mask, one Lord Recluse Helmet, one Back Alley Brawler Gloves, and one Hamidon costume. If you are capable of that feat, I will bestow upon you another Costume Slot, just don't make the new outfit as ugly as the one you're wearing now.
Same as it ever was: http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Granny_Beldam

If you see daylight in the game, it hasn't started yet.

Yes, someone goofed with the GMOTD. It starts at Noon EDT. [Edit: Or... earlier. ]

I've updated all the relevant Wiki pages with the information that was discovered in Test. If anything has changed since then, please update the Wiki or post it in the forums so we can update the Wiki.

Don't worry, he didn't design that mission.

You only have to keep one generator 'alive.' As soon as you approach one of them, you trigger an ambush of three waves coming for that generator. If you can defeat the three waves then there will be no more foes coming to destroy that generator. Then you can leave that one there and go kill Silver Mantis and rescue Amanda without worrying about the generators anymore.

And if saving Amanda alone completes the mission, it should be bugged.
  10. I've been bugging it for a really long time now. I've pointed our new BugczArbiter Kim toward this:

    Origins

To summarize (and add in titles):

    1. Being called by your origin. E.g. A Mutant Radiation Blaster.

    2. First level origin specific inherent power.

    3. Titles. The list of titles you can apply to your character at the trainer differs depending on your Origin.

    4. Can only slot applicable Origin Specific Enhancements. There are Enhancement Stores and contacts that cater to a specific origin

    5. Some Veteran/Temp Powers have bonuses dependent upon Origins, e.g. the 33-month veteran reward: Technology/Science/Natural get +50% damage from the Nemesis Staff, and Magic/Mutation/Natural get +50% from the Blackwand.

    6. Heroes have contacts that are origin specific and prefer to refer to you to other contacts of the same origin, though, you can get the missions from all the contacts except for the starting contacts which are exclusive of other origins.

    7. A very few missions cater to your origin. There's at least one where the temp power granted (Demon Box) depends on your origin. The arc, Origin of Power gives a background to each of the origins, but gives you a lot more specific information about your specific Origin.
  12. This link is for level 50 heroes, but a lot of it is easily translatable to villains.

Also there is the Mission Architect arcs. Try out the Dev Choice and Guest Author arcs for really good missions.

Some new content hits this Tuesday with the Hallloween event starting.

    Maintained? Yes. But poorly.

They just copy whatever gets updated on the real site, but they do a half butted job of doing even that.

    Oh, cruel irony.

That's the old wiki. The one abandoned because they would allow ads for Real Money Traders (the gold farmers who spam our in-game email) and is now maintained by the puppets of those RMTers.

    Please use: http://paragonwiki.com

Dear NegRepper: I reposted your comment so people can get a good laugh at your weak ego boundaries.

I originally made the video to *help* people by showing how to organize the way-too-many telepads needed to connect to all the possible zones.

On all toons. From level one on up. Especially low level toons which have so few slots to begin with.

Vet Rewards are a mixed bag. You get four per year and you can't expect every single one to be super awesome. I expect something awesome at least once a year.

I love Reveal. I thought the 5 Merit reward wasn't worth the effort.

I love the Wings and Trenchcoat and Kilt. I thought the Boxer Outfit and the Greek Letters weren't worth the effort.

    But hey, free stuff.

They come and go like the static NPCs. Run out of range into the RWZ and back and get to reset them... that usually works.
