I was really looking forward to this arc, but how many of these are necessary?
And your difficulty level was set at....?

The ones that ambush you in the war room are easily defeated since you have a handful of EBs helping you.

The rest, only 3 of them, are in the final room.

    Lrn2pul.

Seriously. It doesn't matter if thirty spawns overlap. If you ding one minion and pull back, you'll only have to deal with one spawn at a time.

Ummm... being 50 isn't *passing* the 45-50 range.

In fact, you need to be *at the top of* OR pass the range. A level 35 toon can do the level 30-35 arcs, e.g.
  5. Good News: I just did a DJ Zero mission holdover from last year and Snaptooth is no longer bugged. You can target him when he becomes an EB.

Bad News: That info never made it into a Patch Notes. Naughty Devs and their stealth fixes!
  6. Keep in mind that in the last mission alone, there's about 1,500 foes that throw themselves at you. It's a great farm for XP, inf, and even Purple drops. Most times I've done this SF, someone got a purple.
  7. I wouldn't attempt it without a MM (who knows how to get the temp power from their powers window into their tray). Suppressing Reichsmanns uber defense mode is a must, IMO.

As mentioned above, pull to the alley on the right side of the platform. Stay together. Don't let team members start to pop their heads up out of the alley, then all the 5th stop at a distance and shoot and then you can't AoE them to death.

Yes, you can. You unteam and run around killing all the greys. However, no XP, drops, or credit for the lowbies on the team. But you do get credit for kill-counts.

They better make sure they leave one enemy alive for the HT to target.

Might be fun for a redside Reichsmann when you're surrounded by a hundred 5th.

The damage from Self Destruction is unbuffable.

I always use SD at the end of the first mission of the Lady Grey Task Force because going to the hospital means getting back to the contact quickly. Even if I'm not the team leader, I'll use it and then TP the team leader to Lady Grey. I use it on the clockwork ambush so it does a good amount of killing.

    The Television

Hey, disciples of The Television, may I ask you something: What has The Television done for us?

Dr. Aeon has given us the MA. He creates Dev choices. He coordinates Guest Author missions. He helps mission architects.

I think it's time for The Television to tell us what sort of programming he's up to...

You do know that a good number of the female PCs in the game are played by men, right?

It's not like you ERP'd with a Carnie last nigh...

Actually, I corrected that on the Villain Zone map. Haven't gotten around to updating the Hero Zone map.

  20. Well, there was a lot of dev/mod online activity today.

I can see such rumors happening. At times, I've been at the receiving end of leaks.

Sometimes they just can't help themselves.

What do you mean by 'in use today'? We're talking etymology, not usage. Usage wise, everyone agrees what a proc does. It's the etymology that is argued and etymology is not determined by usage or popular belief, but by facts.

In my research on this topic we see people who believe in the WoW etymology (the acronym) being unable to point to their explanation existing before WoW. For them, the term 'proc' didn't exist before WoW.

For those whose etymology is that it's a shorthand for 'process', they all point to the usage of 'proc' coming from the old MUDs and adopted by Everquest. This is an etymology that precedes WoW.

Both the WoW and CoH developers came through the Everquest world, which is why both games use the term 'proc'. Unfortunately, someone on WoW's version of the Wiki came up with the backronym and that's what all WoW users believe. They are wrong.

The bar is to show it stops at all those zones. The thin line with the terminal arrow heads is to show that the line is not to be interpreted that that transport stops at each zone it crosses.

I don't want to get into symbolizing the manner of transports and connections; it's already too busy graphically for more graphical and, quite frankly, extraneous information.

Deceive is another I use too. I have been known to keep an enemy deceived just so I can TP Foe him around a map with me and Siphon Speed as it recharges. It's not even necessary to do this but I love it so much that I just can't stop.

If I could Siphon Speed my teammates my life as a Villain would be complete
You need to dual box with a Trick Archer and SS off of the Oil Slick.

Or convince Castle to make Trick Archery a power in an Ancillary Power Pool or a replenishable Temp Power.
