Craftable Temporary Powers: You will now have a much cleaner and more consistent way of finding and crafting temporary powers.
Increased Mission Count: You can now have seven active missions (previously three).
Show Last Objective: This UI improvement lets you find your last objective on a mission map, making it easier to find something you've missed.
Auction House: The UI gives you new options for sorting search results, your Auction House inventory is now separated by clearly marked tabs based on the item's status, the Auction House text entry box now autocompletes, and a single click on a recipe displays all salvage needed for that recipe.
In-Game E-mail: You can now use in-game e-mails to send Influence/Infamy to your own characters or to other players' characters via in-game e-mails. (You still cannot send Influence, Infamy, or items from a Hero to a Villain or vice versa.) -
Quote:Why? Ultra Mode has no effect on new missions, in fact, it's been said that it will hardly affect the look of instanced missions.I wish they would have just kept Ultra Mode until they were releasing ALOT of new content, like Going Rogue.
At this point, Issue 18 will be the accompanying Issue of Going Rogue just like Issue 6 accompanied CoV.Quote:Is Issue 18 coming before Going Rogue?
First, it was 3 per year, which averages out to once every 4 months. Second, that was the promise of Cryptic before the buyout. We're under new management and new management has stated that 3 per year is a soft goal, not the hard goal it used to be. Additionally, under new management we're getting 3-4 booster packs per year, and now, a complete EXPANSION.Quote:I thought they hired all these new peeps so we could have new issues every 3 months or so. ?
First, it's 16 missions (2 arcs x 4 missions x 2 cities). And second, care to quote where you heard this called a "content update"? We were told there'd be content before GR, not a "content update." And of course, it's easy to make your point when you don't count half the missions and discount the new content that will be in the revised TF. <rolls eyes>Quote:Would rather have new task forces... could care less about updating old ones. 8 missions is weak IMO, for a content update. When they said content update, I was thinking like 5 or 10 levels of content.
I agree with you. However, your expectation that something that ambitious would come between now and GR is your problem. We were clearly told that this was going to a minor tide-us-over Issue until the huge content dump of GR.Quote:I hope this gets alot better, new zones with all new content. We desperatly need a new issues like this one: Forest of Dread -

At HeroCon it was definitely presented as part of GR and they said that Dominators *might* be getting it.

So, I'm guessing that the Dark Mirror enemy is your Praetorian self that will have your powersets and maybe even copy your character costume.
Zombie Man's not worried, he's defeated Nosferatu, so, he can defeat 'himself.' -
Make sure you have the latest graphic driver updates and motherboard chipset/CPU driver updates. Go to the manufacturer's web site and here: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Default.aspx

I'd stay away from The Amazing Mayfly.

Thanks.
I interpreted "no duplicates" meant don't list or count them twice, but I pointed out where they were in case, e.g., the 'fly' I circled was not the expected fly on the master solution sheet. -
I think you'll want to see this, which is what happens when you can crank physics particles to the level of "zomg! not recommended!!"

Quote:Nope. Powersets just take too long to design.and so you think we will get more powersets than just the 2 mentioned?
We *might* get more proliferation than just Electricity Control. Proliferation is relatively easier than new Sets. And since GR's release date was moved back to make room for I17, there *might* be more proliferation. -
Hsssss.
Does anyone think that uninformative thread titles are a waste of time? -
You can go into Menu > Options > Keyboard and select different keys for movement. You may find some that don't cause these internal hardware conflicts.
E.g., you can move the WASD movement keys to ESDF and see if that helps. If you're a touch typist with your fingers on the 'home row' keys, this set up makes better sense anyway.
Or, get a new keyboard. Go to a store with keyboards and display and try them out and see if they beep at you when you try chording the movement keys with each other. -

either way, time to back off the fem attitude a tad.
But it's nowhere near the inanity of this. (The Smith College comment video. NSFW) -
Is it there on both the hero arc *and* the villain arc? And is it not there in the actual zone?
